Scam – Pyramid – Sad. One my daughters friends tried they whole 9 yards to get my wife and I to go to some meeting. I said we would think about it and when we said no he wanted to know why and got pissed at us. I didn’t have the heart to tell him he is being used and I bet a $1. that he will be done with it in less than 3 months! He then sends us an email at 2 in the morning apologizing but still pitching his sale why its good – something struck me however, he never asked me about switching my electricity over!? he was just interested in us working for them….I then found out if we had gone he would have had to not pay his $399. “operating fee” – This is such a sad joke.

Hi,
Ambit does not force anyone to switch energy service or to become a rep. You know youself whether you are fit for sales or not. Any business is not a magic, you need to work you ass off to be successful or failure. Not every body is successful in one given busines. The same goes with Ambit. Ambit kept all the promises as of now. I made my initial payment of $ 429.00. and waiting to see what my bill looks like the 1st 2 months and going forward. I hope I will be saving on bill as they promised.

I went to a presentation by Ambit in upatate NY a few wks ago….after it was over, the speaker asked if anyone had questions…..I raised my hand and said, “why do we have to pay you UPFRONT $429 plus the website ‘maintenance’ fee monthly to join your company to SELL your product for you? If we’ make it back’ in a few short weeks…then by all means…instead of sending me the $429 initial ‘fee’….just don’t send me my paychecks until that comes off the top…..the speaker didn’t know what to say, just started rambling about ‘business costs’ and some other bs….the MC of the friend who brought me came over and said he liked my spunk and devil’s advocate attirude and wanted me on his ‘team’…I said, prove to me this is not a pyramid scheme, show me your last 12 pay stubs and put up the $429…..he said he’d email me the ‘proof’ that ambit is legit, along with copies of his pay stubs… …..that was 3 wks ago…..i am still waiting…….
